13 Month No-Penalty CD
During the initial maturity period, no early withdrawal penalty will be assessed if you make a partial withdrawal or redeem your CD more than seven days after the CD is opened. (IRA CDs will be subject to those penalties required by the IRS regulations)
If you make a partial withdrawal or redeem your CD during the first seven days after you open your CD, or during any subsequent renewal period, an early withdrawal penalty will be charged on the amount withdrawn equal to six month's interest.*
The interest rate is fixed for the term of the CD. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day the bank receives the deposit of non-cash items (for example, checks). We use the daily balance method to calculate interest on your account.
A $5,000 minimum balance required to open and earn the annual percentage yield (APY). The APY assumes interest remains on deposit until maturity. A withdrawal prior to maturity will reduce earnings.
After the CD account is opened, you may not make deposits into the account until the maturity date (unless this is an IRA CD account whereupon additional deposits may be made in amounts of $1.00 or more).
You may make partial withdrawals of $500 or more ($1 or more from IRA CDs) from principal without redeeming the CD, provided the balance after the partial withdrawal is $1,000 or more ($100 or more for IRA CDs).
CD accounts will automatically renew at maturity. You have a grace period of 10 calendar days after the maturity date to withdraw the funds without being charged a penalty.
For other than IRA CDs, interest will be compounded and paid to the CD quarterly and at maturity. For IRA CDs, interest will be compounded daily and paid to the CD monthly and at maturity. For other than IRA CDs, you may elect to have interest paid to you, rather than to the CD, on a monthly or quarterly basis.
CDs are non-negotiable and non-transferable.
For additional information see "Summary of Fees and Definitions" card. Refer to our rate sheet or ask for current rate information. Interest rates listed on the rate sheet are subject to change at the discretion of the bank.
*Please note, after your CD renews, the no-penalty feature will not apply and early withdrawal penalties may be imposed (as stated in the Agreements and Disclosures), unless otherwise noted.
